I didn't want this coffee to be called just another "Breakfast Blend". I thought this unique blend was deserving of an equally unique name. I was bagging coffee early one morning when the local radio station started playing the National Anthem as it always does at 6 am. Looking east through the window I could see the early morning sky lighten over the Blue Ridge mountains while I heard the words, "by the dawn's early light". As I watched a new day dawn on the valley I realized I had just heard the best words to describe this new blend.
